I have this player connected to my Samsung LED TV and I had no trouble playing my imported region B blu-ray discs from UK and all my DVDs from both UK and US worked on this too. I was also able to play avi files from my thumb drive using the USB connection in the back of the player.
The picture looks great for DVDs and the blurays looks outstanding. I definitely recommend this bluray player for anyone importing movies from around world that never make it to the USA

Very beautiful, very easy to hook up and a wonderful addition for the multiple discs I have in PAL format. The one complaint is that it does NOT have an intuitive feel about how to get the correct subtitles etc. and the accompanying instructions are worthless. All in all, it is the best that is out there and I recommend it.

I have had the Orei BDP-M1 player for about 3 weeks and overall I like it very much. After connecting an HDMI cable and the power cord, I was watching my frist disc in about 2 minutes. OREI BDP-M1 Region Free DVD 3D/2D Blu-ray Player - Plays any region Standard DVD 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and Region A Blu-ray discs. Does not play region B or C Blu-ray - 110-240V WorldWide VoltageThe upconversion to 1080p for standard DVD's makes them look almost like Blu-ray picture quality. My previous Blu-ray player only upconverted to 1080i and the difference is quite noticeable! I did have one little problem when I played The Supremes-Live In Amsterdam (a PAL disc). The disc played fine, but after watching the concert, it wouldn't eject and the player totally locked up. No button either on the front of the player or on the remote would do anything...Read more
