The player features a 5-inch, 4:3 aspect ratio LCD and compatibility with DVD-Video, VCD, audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3-encoded discs. Take your favorite movies and music on the plane, on the bus, or even in the car for the kids--a supplied DC vehicle adapter lets you power the unit right from your dashboard cigarette lighter. The unit also includes a slim remote control for hassle-free operation in tight quarters.

A handy feature called chapter preview, active in resume mode, displays the first 3 seconds of each previously viewed chapter, then rolls into normal playback once it reaches the position where you'd previously stopped the disc.

Composite- and S-video and stereo analog-audio outputs let you hook the player up to your other audio/video gear for viewing on your TV. Route a Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1-channel surround signal from the player's digital-audio output to a compatible audio/video receiver to lose yourself in luscious surround sound from your favorite movies and concert videos.

The supplied rechargeable battery provide up to 3 hours of playback (power consumption depends on the operations of the player, such as screen brightness, volume level, etc).

Playback options include frame-by -frame slow motion, picture zoom, and multiple angle viewing (with applicable discs). Headphones are not included, but the player offers built-in stereo speakers for headphones-free listening.
