Easy set up - associated with the wireless no issues. However, would place the sub-titles on all DVD's automatically, they would not turn off for love nor money. Blu-Ray no issues, did not place the sub-titles automatically, absolutely stunning picture & resolution for Blu-Ray. Called Amazon they were willing to accept a return due to the DVD issues, finally as a last ditch effort called Sharp tech support.
Sharp had me reset - the system has a memory, the memory was wonky (best description available), once it was reset the issues with the DVD's were resolved. DVD up scaling is excellent.
System is slow to load a Blu-Ray, compared to the Panasonic Blu-Ray 210, does not have all of the fine tuning features that the Panasonic has, but, due to the fact that I have a Sharp TV am retaining the unit since they work well together and the picture is so amazing. Limited features to tweak the Blu-Ray play back compared to the Panasonic, limited selection of network...Read more

I've had this product for almost a year now, and have had nothing but issues with it. I purchased at Best Buy, and according to them and to Sharp it is the best model that they have out. I should have gone with a Sony. There are issues with playing disks, connecting to my wireless internet (had a g wireless, and have now upgraded to N and it connects most of the time), and with shutting it off. When the unit has been playing for a full length movie it freezes, or if your on netflix it will freeze when try to shut it off and the only way it will turn off is if you plug the plug. The last update for it was back in March(BC11021000 firmware).

So far very happy with this player. It is mounted sleekly on the wall next to my flat screen in my bedroom where there really wasn't room for a table or console to put a regular player on. It is easy to use and the quality is great. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a wall-mountable DVD player - they are hard to find! BTW - you do need to purchase the 70mm VESA mount separately - it was $20 at Best Buy, but I'm sure you could find one for less on Amazon.
