It plays both NTSC- and PAL-formatted discs, convenient for viewing non-region-encoded European DVDs on compatible TVs. Parental password protection locks the player when viewing would otherwise be unsupervised.

Password-protected parental controls help you manage player use. Other playback functions include zoom, slow motion, multi-angle, program play, video segment bookmarking, and multispeed fast-forward and rewind.
