You can record content onto DVD+R/RW discs, and the DVRS04M is compatible with DVD movie, CD audio, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD-R/RW, (S)VCD disc playback as well as MP3 audio and JPEG image files. It has an 8-event/1-month timer that works with both the DVD recorder and VCR.
