So this is the new Onkyo Flagship player? I am ashamed I even attempted to purchase one (I already returned it). Load times are slow even after Quick Start is enabled. No WIRELESS which at this price range should have been an afterthought! The remote looks like it comes with a 100.00 blu ray player. The ONLY cool thing about this player is the Blu ray 3D light that lights up when a 3D disc is put in. Other than that the ONLY other positive thing to say is it is well built as far as players go these days. Image is great but it is also with players that cost under 200! If you have to spend this much get the Oppo 93 because in the features department it blows it out of the water. Heck the Panasonic 310 also has Dual HDMI outs and a lot more than the Onkyo 809! That can be had for under 200 these days. Nice try Onkyo but you missed on this one... By A LOT!
P.S. I usually love Onkyo products and have their 3009 Receiver which is amazing... The Onkyo 809 BLu ray player does match...Read more

This is one of the best blu ray players I have ever owned. THX certification is nice Great. Start up time can be a little slow but if you put it on Quick start mode, it helped out a lot.
