One of the best features of this player is that it can play media files directly through the USB flash drive input. I tried plugging in a card reader and it worked. I could play the files from the SD directly. It plays WMV and Mpeg files well though it does have some software issues with some files. You don't have to copy all the media files on the computer onto a DVD or CD. Just copy them onto a flash or SD and play them.
The picture quality is very good too. I am expecting to connect the player to my new full HD LCD. That would give me an idea about the upcoverting properties.
